Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Attend the Invictus Games’ First Event – See Her All-White Look!

Meghan Markle attended the pre-game reception for the Invictus Games in The Hague, the Netherlands, today, marking her first public appearance of the year thus far. The Duchess of Sussex looked elegant in an all-white outfit with her hair down in beautiful waves, as shown in the photos. She accessorised with a white pocketbook and a necklace with a golden pendant.

Her public appearance today comes after Meghan’s representative announced yesterday that the couple met with the Queen in person in Windsor, ahead of their departure to the Netherlands. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently on a state visit to the Netherlands. This is the first face-to-face contact that Meghan and Harry have had with Queen Elizabeth II since March 2020, according to reports. The meeting with the Queen, as well as with Prince Charles, is also being reported.

In addition to their representative’s remark that Harry had “hoped to” see his grandmother in person, Meghan and Harry did not respond to requests for further comment.

In a March 2021 interview with Oprah, Harry discussed his tight relationship with the Queen. His grandmother has received more attention in the last year than he has received in “many, many years,” he claims. The relationship between my grandma and me is one of mutual respect and admiration, and I hold her in high regard.

The games will take place from April 16 through April 22. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Meghan is anticipated to accompany Harry to The Hague for the first few days of the competition, while Harry will remain in The Hague for the entire duration of the competition, according to the publication.
